Semana Santa at Utila

Posted by: admin in Untagged  on

Everyone enjoyed the always hectic Semana Santa this week. There were people arriving and departing every day but our staple guests managed to remain tranquilo and made sure everyone had a good time. Family Lourie, the Chase siblings and Kevin and Laurie (congrats on your certification Laurie!) headed up the Another Time while the "stag" boat held all the boys and poor Lori! Only until Wednesday when the Swiss arrived and added 2 more females to the group--thank goodness.

Once again the whale sharks graced us with their prescence at the beginning of the week allowing everyone to call and write home with phenomenal pictures to make other friends and family jealous. Also sighted were a lesser electric ray, huge scorpion fish, tiny octopus, and quillfin blenny.

Thanks to all for a wonderful week at Laguna Beach!

Fantastic Week at LBR

So we had a full house this week with Calypso divers from Missouri taking the majority of the resort led by Joel! Family Millet/Bennett rounded out the rest of the spots. All three boats spotted the infamous whale shark early in the week so the remainder went very smoothly needless to say. Other critters included a rare lined seahorse, juvenile spotted trunkfish, and a giant sunfish (I was jealous of that one!). Thanks to the divers for another fantastic week at Laguna Beach.
